Karen is leading the M&C marketing team in defining and communicating the corporate mission, brand, value proposition, and marketing strategy. She aligns product marketing with business objectives, and directs channel partner co-marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events. Karen is a 25-year veteran, and held global marketing positions at Periphonics and Nortel, leading a robust team of marketing professionals in all aspects of strategic marketing, including the user group—PACE. Subsequently, in her role as VP of Marketing for Misys/Allscripts, she was responsible for building and directing marketing for the practice management brand. Karen also has a track record of success in project management, managing business critical projects, and has joined many that were troubled and needed an efficient hand to get them back on track. Having worked with all levels of leadership, including CEOs and presidents, she has a reputation for high quality and on-time delivery in some of the most challenging situations and is an excellent problem solver providing strategic and tactical solutions. Karen’s commitment and experience with branding and go-to-market strategies ensures M&C of its business objectives and ‘Place’ in the market.
Amanda is passionate about thinking outside the box. Her creative flare and tech savviness have brought many new ideas and initiatives to M&C including a new CRM system, updated mobile-friendly newsletters and the creation of the M&C blog. With communications skills particularly in writing, social media, event planning; Amanda is able to handle many different aspects of company communications. Before joining M&C, Amanda became trained and skilled in Project Management (PM), with responsibilities in managing small to medium size systems and projects. At M&C she is putting her PM skills to work on medium to large scale projects. Amanda graduated magna cum laude from Stony Brook University College of Business with a double major in Accounting as well as Management and Operations with a minor in Information Systems. Prior to joining M&C, Amanda had assisted in the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to replace the green screens and improve data flow across the organization. She created and delivered multiple game-based training events, and was the thought leader for corporate philanthropy. Her strengths in digital design, creative problem solving, and especially software application troubleshooting and light programming make her role at M&C a natural fit. Amanda’s enthusiasm and desire to “break the mold” allow her to push herself and others at M&C to new heights.
Diego oversees all aspects of system support, including field technical support, the Communications Center, hardware and software maintenance and logistics. He facilitates the team during the presales and post-sales process to ensure appropriate support services are in place for all project engagements. Prior to joining M&C, Diego became recognized for his vast experience with Avaya/Nortel/Periphonics in field engineering and Field service management, and was a 1991 President’s award recipient for personal contribution to the corporate effort, and has consistently ranked in the top 10% in his yearly reviews. Diego’s 21 years of experience includes scheduling and delivering classes to internal technical services departments and customers, including maintenance, system operation and administration, networking, and upgrading.
Veronica has over 12 years of experience in telecommunications with a focus on natural language speech recognition and self-service applications. Prior to joining M&C, Veronica built and led many successful training departments, and today at M&C she continues to broaden her talent in areas of Knowledge Transfer and application development with new projects including Orchestration Designer, Dialog Designer, Experience Portal and Voice Portal administration, with the addition of trouble shooting.
She has held the position of Product Manager to create and establish the product management function and operations including: designing and defining product roadmaps, managing QA teams, and delivering product demos to potential customers. Her leadership and communications skills on projects is excellent, especially large-scale, and Veronica very often is given high marks by customers who have asked her to return.
